JoJo and I met on the Square in Oxford on a Saturday afternoon in the fall of 2020. I had just started my senior year at Ole Miss and JoJo had just graduated the previous May. He was back in Oxford for one final year to complete his Masters of Accountancy and Data Analytics. We had been hanging out with a large group of mutual friends that day and eventually ended up meeting and sitting together on a balcony on the square enjoying the afternoon!

We were determined to soak in every last minute of our time in Oxford and we did just that. We enjoyed many days and nights with our friends, whether it be on the Square or in Swayze for countless baseball games. These memories were the start of our relationship and we will cherish them forever. Once we graduated that May, JoJo moved up to Memphis, TN to start working and I shortly followed to start my career as well. We have loved continuing to grow in our relationship over the past 2 years in Memphis. And being just an hour away from Oxford has also allowed us to easily get back for more football, baseball, and good times with friends and family!

To us, Oxford is our story: it’s where we met and started our relationship, it’s where we began our journey in our faith together at St. John, and it’s where JoJo asked me to marry him. We can’t wait to share our special day in June with all our friends and family in the place that is the most special to us!!
